This manual was edited for latest instruction in Hevea latex testing. A primary objective of this Laboratory Manual is that it serves as a practical handbook of instruction and reference for Research Assistants of the Analytical Chemistry Division in general and the Latex Testing Laboratory in particular. However it is also hoped that this Manual will provide useful information on methodology of latex analysis to Research Officers of the Institute as well as other latex testing laboratories within the rubber industry in Malaysia. Other sectors of the NR industry may also find the Manual informative. This Manual is divided into two parts. The first part describes routine tests which are in greater demand while the second part consists of non-routine tests which are occasionally required.
