- Description
- This paper discusses finite element analysis (FEA) of elastomeric seismic isolators. The areas covered are: a) the prediction of the vertical behaviour of rubber bearings under combined compression and shear; b) the compressive behaviour of a pad of rubber bonded between two extensible layers and c) the FEA of lead rubber bearings (LRB).
