Description: Natural rubber has one major flaw which is poor ageing and poor ozone resistance. This occurrence is contributed by double bonds in the rubber molecules. There are many papers which discuss the reduction of double bond content by hydrogenation process. This paper however, illustrates the characterization of hydrogenated natural rubber using various spectroscopy methods and an analytical method.
